Yoga Basics Workshop:

Saturday, January 10th 12:30 - 2PM

What is yoga?  Where does it come from?  What are some of the benefits?  Why do we use Sanskrit?  (What the heck is "sanskrit"?)  What's with the teacher calling out "Inhale" or "Exhale" before the pose names?  

Expect some lecture and a very slow paced basics practice.  Learn the foundation and alignment of a number of essential poses like Downward Facing Dog, Warrior 2 and yogi push-ups.  Feel free to ask your questions!

This workshop is great for beginners as well as intermediate students who want to realign with the foundation of their practice.
