Emilie first began practicing yoga in college at Penn State, when on a whim; she decided to explore yoga to fulfill a PE credit.  Little did she know it would develop into one of her life's passions.  After college, she practiced off and on, but it wasn't until she was faced with a difficult time in her life, that a dedicated practice took hold and the true benefits of yoga revealed themselves.  On and off the mat, yoga allowed her to find a sense of peace in heart, body and mind.

Wanting to share this practice with others, Emilie completed her initial 200-hour training in 2012 and began teaching.  She strives to create a challenging, yet safe space in her classes, allowing students to explore their own personal edge, knowing that wherever they are in the evolution of their practice is special.
