FLOW (OR VINYASA) YOGA...
synchronizes movement to the breath. The term “flow” is used because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath is an important component because the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. Ideally, students move to the apex of the poses slowly and fluidly, and fully explore transitions. Expect these classes to offer a balance of strength, flexibility, and endurance to challenge body and mind.
Soul Flow 1: A vinyasa class offered at a pace suitable to honor all student levels. For all classes: modify at any time, drink water and come into a resting posture when needed.
Soul Flow 1.5: A bump up from your Level 1 experience.
Soul Flow 2: An intermediate vinyasa flow class. Inversions and arm balances may be introduced.
Double Trouble: A dynamic intermediate vinyasa flow class co-lead by 2 teachers. This class promises twice the love and plenty of hands-on adjustments.
Groovy Level 2/3: A 75-minute vinyasa class that is a bump up from your Level 2 practice. What's "groovy" about it? It won't just be about the physical practice; you will see more advanced sequencing / poses, but we are taking one more step in on the yogic path too! You may see some pranayama, chanting, meditation -- you will have to attend to find out what's in store for you this week! * for intermediate and advanced students
Yoga Basics for Beginners: is a fundamentals class and a gentle flow. We'll explore key principles and poses to help create a solid foundation for your practice. Perfect for new students as well as practitioners who could use a refresher.

Restore: Entirely passive and massively rewarding, Restorative Yoga utilizes long holds and gravity instead of muscle engagement. Most poses will use the support of props such as pillows, blankets and blocks to provide comfort for the 3-5 minutes you'll spend in each pose. Practicing restorative yoga is a great way to relax your body and release stress. You will not believe how well you sleep after class. All levels welcome.

Yoga Sculpt: This heart-pumping, energy-inducing class focuses on strength training for the ultimate full body workout. Light hand weights are combined with your own body weight for a workout that will keep you burning calories long after the class is over. Prepare to sweat, as you lengthen and tone your body, and revive and refocus your mind. Great for athletes and yogis alike. This is our most intense class.
Before and after class, SoulShine's studio space is not a quiet space. Our community is so strong, students want to connect with each other and talk, so we allow for this. Certain classes tend to be a lot quieter before and after, like the RESTORE classes... so if you need quiet, try those. There is of course, no talking during class. Come on in!
