My yoga mat gives me a calm space in the storm.

I first discovered yoga about 19 years ago, and practiced intermittently with many different teachers and studios. After having 3 babies and catching up on sleep (sorta), I've been able to come to my mat with more consistency in the last 4 years. I am an occupational therapist and busy mom, so yoga not only appeals to my scientific mind, but it gives me an opportunity to disengage from the busyness and breathe.
